The Secretary-General of the House of Representatives, Counselor Ahmed Saad, issued a decision to allow female workers and employees to leave the Council in the days of the plenary sessions at 5 pm.
The decision of the Secretary-General on Thursday, which was broadcast by the General Secretariat of the House of Representatives as follows: "The Secretary-General of the House of Representatives, that an exception from the rules scheduled, that the staff of the Secretariat, the days of meetings until the end of the meeting, allows the workers to leave the Secretariat at full hour 5 pm, in the days of the sessions of the Council, which shall continue beyond the fifth, without prejudice to the allowance due to attend the meetings, unless the nature of their work to continue until the end of the session as of 14 February 2019.
It is worth mentioning that the House of Representatives holds its plenary session on Thursday under the chairmanship of Dr. Ali Abdel-Al, Speaker of Parliament, the third plenary session held on Wednesday, to take the vote by calling on the principle of amending the Constitution.
This comes especially after discussions lasted for more than 10 hours during three sessions, which were allocated by the Speaker of the House of Representatives to consider the report of the General Committee of Parliament on the principle of amending some articles of the Constitution at the request of 155 members (more than five members of the Council).
Abdel-Al said at the end of the plenary session yesterday that the session scheduled for Thursday will witness a vote by name on the approval of the amendment principle, calling on all members of parliament to be present on time..
