Minister of Higher Education and former Minister of Health at the Egyptian Orthopedic Association Conference The 70th annual conference of the Egyptian Orthopedic Association began today, in the presence of Dr. Khalid Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Dr. Adil Adwa, former Minister of Health and Rapporteur of the Conference.

The conference is attended by more than 2500 participants and more than 250 lecturers, including 55 lecturers and experts from Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Spain, Greece, Portugal, India and all Arab countries. It also holds the first conference of Arab orthopedic societies, which Egypt invited last year in the presence of representatives from all Arab countries

Dr. Adel Adawi said that the conference includes a wide range of training workshops on industrial joints and binoculars and treatment of complex fractures and deformities under the supervision of Dr. Jamal Hosny, Chairman of the Scientific Committee, and held on the sidelines of the conference a workshop for backbone surgery at Ain Shams University. The conference will continue for four days in partnership with the International Association The European Orthopedic Association is considered to be an essential part of the Continuing Education Program for Orthopedic Surgeons
